The Complete Works

This is the complete works for Voices and Viols in five parts, edited by Ian Payne. The anthems can also be purchased separately (see below). These five large scale works are an important addition to the published works of the outstanding Jacobean composer John Ward. Dr Payne's detailed scholarship provides this first modern performing edition, with word underlay in the viol parts, and vocal scores. The works can be performed with one voice to a part or with soli and chorus. Additional vocal scores can be ordered for larger choirs.
