Simple Gifts

This familiar Appalachian melody was found in an old hidden shaker hymnal and brought to life in Aaron Copeland’s most famous work. Santorella Publications has brought this simple melody to life in this challenging arrangement by Jonathon Robbins. Originally written by Elder Joseph Bracket to give thanks and praise for the “Simple Gifts” we possess. We must all learn to appreciate the “little things” and be true to one another. This simplistic way of life is one that the Amish culture embraces. Simple Gifts has become an inspirational theme which can be heard at most every ceremonial event.
