Vivaldissimo

The composer Enjott Schneider moves very successfully between music for film and television, on the one hand, and opera, symphony and chamber music, on the other hand. When writing this piece, he was inspired by Vivaldi's famous Double Concerto for two trumpets which he cleverly brought into our time. Baroque elements, minimal music and twelve-note music meet here, full of spirit and passion for virtuoso activity. In addition to the original version (for two trumpets, string orchestra and harpsichord), there is now available an arrangement for two trumpets and organ, an instrumentation which is becoming more and more popular in church concerts today.
